I was born to serve others, and born to plan. I know how that sounds — boring, serious, and maybe intense, but it’s true. I have answered each call to serve that I have received. I have always been generous, and always a meticulous planner. I’m who my friends and family call when they need an itinerary for their vacation, a thought partner on how to help their neighbor, or a spreadsheet for their small business or classroom; it is an honor to use my strengths to serve those around me.
I also grew up in a bilingual household, and by the time I was in the home stretch of my Bachelor of Science degree, I’d seen many families at a true disadvantage when they were interacting with the law, whether their landlord was evicting them, they were getting a divorce, or the IRS was auditing their business.
It didn’t make sense to me: we’re all expected to follow and benefit from the law the same way, but it takes a doctorate degree to understand and write the law fluently? It isn’t right.
So, I went to law school and approached the law like a foreign language. I graduated in 2009, served in the United State Peace Corps in Rwanda, and passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 2011. I have been a licensed attorney since then (BBO No. 680920).
While I loved practicing law, I was called to serve elsewhere: in the classroom. During my time as a teacher, I taught English, United State History, Journalism, and Engineering to students in grades 6-12. It was a privilege to teach and serve my community.
While I was in the classroom, I married my husband, Andrew, who brought with him two incredible children — I suddenly had a family, and felt the changes in priorities and values familiar to many parents.
That shift led me to open a law firm and return to practicing law full-time, using my fluency in the law to translate for folks who need help. My firm, 4 Seasons Law, PLLC, prioritizes custom estate plans for families, planning for life, incapacity, and death. We take occasional family law cases and help other attorneys write appellate briefs to the Court of Appeals and Washington Supreme Court.
Andrew Huffaker is an education specialist and paralegal at 4 Seasons Law. Andrew brings a broad scope of experience as a school psychologist, and organizational strategist, and seasoned educational administrator.

I'm a graduate of Seattle University School of Law with a diverse experiential background. I am the Principal Attorney at Hatcher Law, PLLC.
Prior to law school, I served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. During my time in the Marine Corps, I was stationed in Quantico, Virginia, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Oceanside, California, and Okinawa, Japan. I also deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to the Philippines, and participated in exercises in the Republic of Korea. Before leaving active duty, I also had the opportunity of playing on the All-Marine Corps soccer team in the Armed Forces Championships in Georgia. While we didn't win the tournament, we at least beat the Army. 'Rah.
Upon separating from active duty, I worked as a consultant on various business projects as a project manager and content writer. I got to work on marketing campaigns for international corporations, and led Microsoft's presence at SAP Sapphire in Orlando, Florida, working on such diverse projects as coordinating with international partners, designing the trade show booth, and organizing a golf tournament. These roles enabled me to develop varied skills and interact with people from disparate backgrounds, and foster an appreciation for small business owners and their passion.
I recently joined the Marine Corps Reserves, and have been promoted to the rank of Major. I continue to serve the military community as a volunteer attorney with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General's Military Engagement and Directed Advocacy by Lawyers (MEDAL) program, and as a member of the Washington State Bar Association Legal Assistance for Military Personnel section. Serving my country and its veterans is an honor and privilege, and something I do not take lightly or for granted.
Before joining the military, I attended Spokane Falls Community College where I played soccer, before transferring and finishing at Eastern Washington University where I received my B.A. in History with dual minors in English and Government.
I love spending time with my wife and best friend, Cydney, our incredibly busy identical triplet daughters and our son, and our German Shorthair Pointers, Freyja and Gigi, as well as our fluffy cat, Rajah. In my (exceedingly rare) spare time, I can be found outside, either doing yardwork, pheasant hunting with Freyja and Gigi, or riding my Harley-Davidson, sometimes even with Cydney grudgingly joining me for the ride. I'm also SCUBA certified, but I don't get many chances to dive now that I have returned to living in my home town of Spokane.
